http://www.knowhere.co.uk/ It is a site all about skateboarding BUT also there is a mine of LOCAL information about cheap places to eat, pubs, cafes all written by the young people that actually live in the town. Just put in the town you are visiting in the search facility and loads of inside information will be yours. Its pretty accurate about my own home town. Just as an aside I hate to say this but the cheapest places I find to eat in London are all the well-known fast food burger type places. Good luck. |
