Default Ferries : Plymouth - Santander

Hi,

Any advice on finding the cheapest crossing from Plymouth to Santander ?
One Way, One Car, One Person.
Planning on driving across the Pyrenees, around the coast via Marseille,
Nice, Genoa, across the Alps, up into Germany (spending a couple of days at
the Nordschleife) and then coming back to the UK via Speedferries at
Boulogne-Su-Mer.

Portsmouth Bilbao is likely to be cheaper. Look in the press and at
phone bookings as well as the web.

See http://www.brittanyferries.co.uk/

They do the Plymouth-Santander route. It's a very pleasant trip (in
calm seas) and takes about 18 hours (was 24 when I did it years ago).
Not cheap, varies according to season etc.

**** me that's expensive.

Looks like a re-route using speedferries in both directions is in order !

Thanks for the pointers though.
