Polarizing ships, innocuous ships
I'd like to add that I know that Segboer is a Dutch name, not German, but
Dutch (Baby Boomers and younger, at least) tend to speak some German,
Germans as well as Dutch are named Hans, and not too many Americans and
My Dutch friends each speak between four and six languages fairly fluently.
That's true. Most of Hans' younger relatives back in Holland can
speak English as well as French, German and Spanish ... at least!
And they can probably say "if it ain't Dutch, it ain't much" in each of those
