Default Sydney Weather

Can someone guide me to a website where I can obtain weather forecasts
up to 7 days in advance for both Cairns & Sydney.

This is for my son-in-law who will be flying from Guam to Cairns
[maybe staying for a day or so] then onto Sydney on what looks like a
regular basis.

Thanks.

http://www.bom.gov.au/

Fairly self explanatory site. Select State first, then forecasts. Radar too
for both cities if you want!

As "a mate" says www.bom.gov.au will give you forecasts, but they only go to
four days. Some other weather sites offer 7 day forecasts, but beware,
anything more than four days out can be rather inaccurate, particularly for
coastal cities such as Sydney and Cairns.

Thank you for the info.

Have passed it on.

I agree, forecasts can change dramatically!!

He was on a flight from Honolulu to Guam couple of weeks ago.
At the time, there was a cyclone above Saipan north of Guam.
For whatever reason/s the airline/pilot aborted any attempts at
landing in Guam and flew onto Manila.

It's possible he may do some direct HNL or LAX-SYD flights but the
indications at this time, are mainly from Guam.
