Technically, but I'd make an exception for Rocky Point since
everyone in these parts thinks of it as an adjunct to our fair
state. In that sense it's no more off-topic than having someone
going to Tucson ask about Nogales Sonora.


that could be, but aside from the million or so residents of your
state, it is not considered part of the US, hence it is off topic

Technically the guy is right since Rocky Point isn't in the USA or Canada. But
since the only tourists who go there are coming from or through nearby Arizona
this NG is probably a better place to ask questions about it than the
r.t.latin-america group.

It's not a big deal either way ... lots of posts are more out of line than this
one was.
