Small disaster in a far off country, not many killed.

The number of dead is climbing. though, now that they are able to
actually go in and look. Also, authorities are using resources to
rescue the living, so the number of dead is still quite unknown.

It's not the disaster the Indian Ocean tsunami was, not even per
shorline mile, but the tsunami vicitims didn't have two days
warning. Photos and film of the damage look just as bad as those
of the tsunami, though.

You are too early in trivializing it.

The 'joke' here in the North-east USA, is that it has seriously raised the
average IQ of Merka.

Any guesses as to when they will start declaring 'miracles' of finding
people alive?

The average IQ rises in both countries.

Why a border guard? Because somebody's dad was one?

Godwin's dad?

The President has probably already told the CIA that Iraq's
responsible and to find evidence to give to Colin Powell for
presentation to the United Nations.

No doubt his Science Advisor told him. Oh, wait! He's the first
president in memory to not have one. He doesn't need one because
he knows why everything happens.

There was a report on the radio saying that, in 17nn, an engineer
told the founder of New Orleans to "don't do dat dere".

In 2001, FEMA warned that a hurricane striking New Orleans was
one of the three most likely disasters in the U.S. But the Bush
administration cut New Orleans flood control funding by 44
percent to pay for the Iraq war.

Biblical in its uncontrolled rage and scope...the damage wrought
by the hurricane may not entirely be the result of an act of
nature.

What Southern California fire was also unnecessarily disastrous
because of the policies of the ****in' Idiot in the White House?

The death toll is now projected into the Thousands; were you as glib in
regards to the Bhopal and Sri Lanka disasters...?

Oh yes, about european travel? Wouldn't that be great?

Katrina began its life as a hurricane in the Bahamas. The Bahamas
used to be a colony of the Britain. Britain is in some quarters
considered to be a part of Europe; thus, the post is related to
European travel, somewhat.

Since the Bahamas has launched this attack, the U.S. must invade
the Bahamas to keep this sort of thing from happening again. =R=
