Booked on the Maiden Voyage of Marina
Oceania is placing their new ship, Marina, built to their order, in service
with a Maiden Voyage cruise leaving Barcelona on January 22, 2011. My TA, knowing how we like Oceania, emailed me a pdf brochure with the inaugural itineraries and fares a week or so ago. Bookings were opening today through January 18 for Oceania Club members (automatic with one Oceania cruise). So, I had asked her to hit the phone first thing today to book us. It took her from 7:30 to 10 to get through and by the time she did, many were already nearly sold out or were wait listed. But we made it. The voyage is from Barcelona to Miami with stops at Malaga, Casablanca, and Tenerife (seven straight sea days). Can hardly wait until next January. Paul Johnson |
