Default Help Hong Kong to BKK

I am fortunate enough to get be able to travel with my friend (a pilot) on a
buddy pass and I can get from Cleveland to Hong Kong for $300. But then I
am on my own to get to BKK from there. Any suggestions?? I found that
Emirates flies there for about $200 US. Is that the best that I can do? I
would not mind just flying there and paying a bit more to not be on a buddy
pass at all, that way I dont have to worry about getting bumped and the fact
that I will have to go CLE-JFK-Nirito Japan-Hong Kong-Bkk. Since it should
only cost me about $500 total round trip I am probably going to take it, but
if I could find a way to get there for $650 (total) I would do it and have
it scheduled, the problem is where I am leaving from.

Thanks,
Doug

Check this online travel agent in Hong Kong for some other fares.

http://www.aerohkg.com/airfare.htm

Orient Thai seem to be one of the cheapest now.
