AYEYARWADDY EXPERIENCE BY CRUISE
(6 DAYS/5 NIGHTS)
Yangon-Mandalay-Bagan-Yangon (by Cruise on the RV Pandaw)
Day 01 : ARRIVAL DAY

Welcome and meet on arrival at Yangon airport.
If arriving by morning or mid-day flight , transfer to Hotel. Proceed for
sightseeing tour including Bogyoke (Scott's) market with hundreds of stores
and visit a gem shop. Extended visit to 70 m long reclining Buddha image;
Chauk HtatGyi Pagoda ,the gilded Sule Pagoda at heart of Yangon City, and
the old colonial style city center. Sunset on Shwedagon Pagoda (nearly 100m
long), one of the world's most spectacular religious monuments.
Dinner and overnight in Yangon.

Day 02 : MANDALAY

After breakfast at Hotel, transfer to airport for domestic flight to
Mandalay. On arrival, transfer to Hotel. Fully day sightseeing including
Mahamuni Pagoda with its spectacular Buddha image covered with thick layers
of gold leaves, Shwe Inbin; one of the most outstanding monasteries in the
country, Shwenandaw Kyaung; a superb example of traditional wooden building
and Kuthodaw Pagoda Knowns as the world's largest book consist of 729 marble
slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures.
After lunch, continue to 200-year old UBein teak bridge built in 1782, at
the time when Amapura was the royal capital. Visit Bagaya Monastery with a
superb collection of Buddha statues and stop at a traditional hand- woven
silk workshops and return back to Mandalay. A visit also made to a jetty to
observe daily life at the Ayeyarwaddy River and to a craftsmen's workshop to
see Kalaga tapestries bing made. View the sunset from Mandalay Hill.
Dinner and overnight in Mandalay.

Day 03 : PANDAW

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to the bank of the Ayeyarwaddy River,
Gawein or Shwe Kyeyet port to join RV Pandaw to experience the classic
cruises to Bagan all day.
Dinner and overnight in Pandaw.

Day 04 : BAGAN

Breakfast on Pandaw and explore the village life by visiting Pakokku situate
on the bank of Ayeyarwaddy River. In the mid-morning, arrive at Bagan.
Half day sightseeing in Bagan including famous and interesting handcraft
industry such as lacquer ware industry and shopping there.Sunset at
Shwesandaw pagoda.
Dinner and overnight in Bagan.

Day 05 : BAGAN

Full day sightseeing starting with the busy Nyaung Oo market and continuing
with visit to a diverse selection of the most important pagodas and temples.
Included are-Shwe Zigon Pagoda build by King Anawrahta in the early 11th
century as a religious shrine, Kubyauk Gyi temple, Kyansittha Umin (the
famous meditation centre of Bagan period ). Tour procceds to Htilominlo
Temple and Shwegugyi Temple.
After lunch, continue sightseeing to Manuha Temple, build in Mon Style in
1059, Nanbaya Temple; a unique sandstone monument, Mya Zedi Pagoda and
Minkaba Kubyauk Kyi Temple noted for mural paintings. Visit to Anada Temple
with four huge standing Buddha images and numerous seated figures in niches
around the galleried interior and visit Archaeological Museum. Proceed to
Bupaya Pagoda or Mingala Zedi stupa to watch sunset over the Ayeyarwaddy
River.
Dinner and Overnight in Bagan.

Day 06 : DEPARTURE DAY

After breakfast transfer to airport for domestic flight to Yangon. After a
short visit in Yangon including Nanthida Jetty to see river life and either
shopping or sightseeing to some of the noted interesting places of Yangon.
Lunch at outside restaurant and transfer to airport for departure evening
flight.
