We are looking for entertainment, great pool area, activities. The
guys want to visit the Luxor to view the Egyptian artifacts. Mandalay Bay is often regarded as having the best pool in Las Vegas. And it's right next door to The Luxor. The down-side is that it's the last hotel at at the end of the strip, or at least was when I was there. I second the suggestion to drive overnight, or two, to the Grand Canyon. Six days gives you plenty of time to see both Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon.
