Default FUNCHAL---Madieria

The floods they have had are devastating,saw pictures of the mountain we
took a basket ride on when on a port call there,it was horrible.
Did not realize they could have that much tragedy.

I saw that on the noon news. I couldn't tell where the mudslides were, but
one of the flood scenes looked like the main shopping street in Funchal.
Really a shame- such a nice friendly and beautiful place. In one scene
there was a cruise ship in the background- couldn't tell much about it.
