Travel iron, 220-110
My little travel iron has a setting for 110 and another for 220. Last time I used it aboad, I put on just a plug adapter (from thin U.S. to thick foreign). I used iron OK. Somebody on that trip told me I might damage the iron unless I got a complete ??? adapter, whatever that is -- presumably from 110 to 220. What's the real story? TIA -- Voyageuse |
