I see that the voting is coming along nicely, with lots of people
getting their votes in.

I'm a bit surprised by how the votes are fleshing out. But in a very
pleased way. It shows that people are thinking about this GGC, and I
think they are pushing to improve it by changing the where, when and
length of cruise.

Keep those votes coming. Remember if you are a couple, each should
vote as it makes Mary's counting job easier. If you haven't voted, or
if you want to change your current vote, feel free to do so. Only your
LAST vote will count.

I'm not voting myself, as I have no intentions of going on another GGC, but
something I DID notice here, was that quite a few people, who I know would
probably never go on a GGC, have voted their preference, none the less. Good
luck, Lloyd... You have quite a task to accomplish...

Sorry to hear you won't be going on another one.

But I'm hoping that when the dust settles that not only will plenty of
the current ggcers decide to go again, but also some new ones from rtc.

Maybe it just takes the right timing and the right itinerary? Who
knows?

Let us wait and see what happens, you might be surprised AND you might
end up joining in....

Well I hope to go on one, if it works out. Some folks who have not gone, may
be able to go if the stars align themselves just right, some might go if the
itinerary is right, if it's a west coast cruise, etc. etc.

I think that is valid.

Who is to say? I have never been on one because I won't be going on a
cruise in January anytime soon. Non-holiday weeks or in March, April,
or May, I would give very serious consideration. I usually take a
cruise in that time period. That is why I voted a preference.

Pam
We have never gone on a GGC because the timing or the itinerary has not
been right for us. This just might be the one!

Lloyd seems to have opened it up for more interesting possibilities by
giving the TA's more leeway in being creative.

Maybe you'll change your mind when you see what we are able to accomplish.
This is just a preliminary preference vote, so you, or anyone who reads this
newsgroup, is welcome to express their opinion.

How do you know who would or would not go on a GGC?

Let me stick another $0.02 worth in here.

If the GGC ends up :
1. having timing that works for you
2. has a great itinerary that you'd like to go on
3. is on a ship you either want or have cruised on
4. is a price you'd kill to get (well, maybe that IS a bit
exaggerated!G)

Then why not come along? If you NEVER talked to one of your fellow
ggcers, you would still have all that going for you. I can't see a
down side!

for those that need to know, no '!' were killed in the process of this
note.....

Is that good or bad?

I thought this was for evaluating ideas and options and not just picking the
traditional low-price 7-day Miami Departure to the Eastern or Western
Caribbean that the "regular gang" goes on together every year.
