Charles has a Mac and uses it on all cruises... or are you trying to do
something special with yours?

--Tom

It's just simply the setup they use on Millie -- I have successfully
used the Mac on the Eurodam and Eclipse in the past year. Whatever
wifi service Millie uses does not support any computer without IE!! I
even tried to use Firefox on the Mac to no avail....very disappointing
but oh well!

Wi-Fi does not care what kind of computer you are using. I used both my
Mac and iPhone on Wi-Fi a few months ago on the Celebrity
Constellation.

It was a matter of their sign in pop up box working etc, which it
would not on Safari or Firefox. Again, my experience, just didn't
work! IE was required.

Well, sitting here in the San Juan airport with time to kill! My
flight is delayed another hour! United F'd up my biz class upgrade,
so in coach! Oh well. Anyhow....the photo gallery should be there
now!

Some of the captions don't seem to be working right, and hopefully the
pics will be in the right order. iPhoto was getting a little goofy on
me at times!

The cruise was good -- although I was confined to snorkeling rather
than getting in a scuba dive or two since I had bronchitis the week
for the cruise, and just barely made the cruise in some ways, did
consider cancelling, although, my rule of thumb is "over my dead body"
and it didn't come to that!

11 days is very very nice. I particularly liked the snorkeling in St.
Kitts, St. Lucia, and Bonaire. The ship was packed with Euros, mostly
German, Brits and French. In fact my table at dinner was all Brits
and me. We had a great time.

Huge outbreak of Norovirus late in the cruise. Over 200 people
affected, supposedly. Staff wearing masks in places, no self-serve
implements anywhere, in fact, they took away the bread baskets, cream
and sugar, etc., from the dining room and we were served everything by
staff. No self serve anywhere, no drinks in lido -- they got them for
you. Perversely, I liked being waited on hand and foot, lol. Hit the
gym and the aqua spa pool most nights. Food was good, although
nothing awe inspiring certainly. I think X desserts seem to be
getting kinda boring. Had an inside cabin which was just fine.
Excellent service from cabin dude and wait staff. Enjoyed getting a
free bag of laundry, 1 dry cleaning, and 90 free minutes of internet
access from the Captain's Club Elite thing. They had free drinks
every night from 4 - 8 in Cosmos for high level Captain's Club,
although...you had to put on long pants, hence I never made it! Late
dinner at 8:45 was....late! Maybe a bit too late.

Favorite beach of the trip -- Magazine beach in Grenada down by the
airport. Nice restaurant/bar there, Aquarium, and good shade trees!
Heavy surf that day there! Saw some folks get knocked right down!

Next trip -- something Easter week (only time until summer I can get
away...) and maybe western Caribbean on Costa. I need to go dive in
Roatan!

Some people wish they were on your 11-day cruise on the Millennium,
instead of having snow up to their knees. lol Too bad about the
norovirus on the ship and the steps they took to keep it from spreading,
although I am glad they did.

You mentioned wanting to dive in Roatan, I think I am going to do that
on the Triumph cruise out of New Orleans Mother's Day week. The diving
there can be pretty good, depending on where you go.

I'm thinking I will likely go Easter week on Costa maybe. Which
reminds me, I need to zap George a note here! lol... Couple days at
sea, etc. Haven't done western in a while either!

Is your mac one of the ones where you can load a Windows partition so you

Why on earth would anyone want to use IE of any flavor? There are so
many more superior browsers out there.
