Hoping to get an leased apartment in sydney
Hi,
Im hoping to get a 2 bedroom apartment in sydney after the new year as i have found work that will last for about 4 months. Currently Im sharing with a friend in a twim room of a house with a family but as we plan to be here a little longer than originally planned thought it would be better to get something of our own. The only thing that is possibly going to be a problem is that we will only need it for 3 months and I get the impression that landlords would prefer viewers looking to stay for 6+ months. Is this the case for most properties? There are supposedly a few things ive been warned about renting. Are most places furnished? Do they always normally on the ad if they are furnished or not? I could figure some out. Some did have pictures but i didnt know if that was the current tennants furniture and would be moved out when they do. How much / practical is it to rent furniture for 3 months? Do I need to rent a van to move it or do the furniture people do that? Is the tennant normally expected to get the place cleaned professionally after the lease finishes? Is this normally something agreed prior to moving in? How much does this normally cost? Anyway, Im currenty looking at domain.com.au for places. Seems a good choice. If anyone can add any advice to a newbie to sydney it would be much appreciated. Thanks Burnsy |

Hoping to get an leased apartment in sydney
Both furnished and unfurnished apartments are available - rentals reflect
the quality of the furniture. Cleaning is very definitely the responsibility of the tenant, though this can be dine by a contract cleaner for a fee, which varies according to the area to be cleaned, anf the state of cleanliness. wrote in message oups.com...
