Car Rentals (LAX)

Hi All,,

I'd like to rent a specific car at one the rental companies down at LAX, so
if I ask for a PT Crusier Convetable will I be able to get it or what's the
best approach?

Use a major that rents that kind of vehicle, reserve that car class and then
ask for it at the counter. It may help to call a few hours ahead.

Is there any special reason you want this type of car? We got a PT
Cruiser last year in Halifax, NS and did't like it at all. The trunk
is rather small (our 3 suitcases didn't fit without folding down half
the back seat and as far as fuel efficiency goes, it needed 20% more
gas than a Pontiac Grand Prix or Ford Tempo. I like the look of the PT
though.

BTW, Alamo/National listed the PT cruiser as a "full size" in Nova
Scotia but I was told they would alter this as they got a lot of
complaints about it.

I don't think there is a guarantee that you'll get that specific model.
