Default Digital photos from media card to CD on board

Hi,

We will be on the Star Princess for 12 nights in June. Does anyone know if
I can take my compact flash card (media card) to the photo shop and have
them transfer photos to a CD. If so do you know the approximate cost.

We have just returned from a cruise on the Tahitian Princess and they
did just what you want! You open an account with the photo people and
they download your card onto their system each time you fill it. At the
end of the cruise they burn the images to a CD. I think it costs about
$US20.00.Should be the same on the other Princess ships.

As of 2/03, yes they did. However, there was sometime for this to happen. There
was a minimum turn around time of 20 hours to get your photos in print form.
This means you need at least two cards.

Since you asked about photo CD's, it is offered. It too had the same time delay
and as far as cost, I'm sorry don't know.

Thanks for the posts answering my question. Glad to know that I can get my
pictures on a CD. I have additional media cards, but just wanted to be able
to do this in case I filled them up. I prefer not to take my laptop,
although some prefer to do this. I am also not interested in having them
develop my prints onboard. The time delay will not bother me just so I cn
get the pictures to the CD to bring back with me. We are looking forward
to our cruise on the Star Princess.

Hi Lee,

That is very true. I carry a Polaroid P-500 so I can make prints for
my friends. I noticed they have really gotten inexpensive:
