Oosterdam: Seven days, San Diego to Mexico
This was just our second cruise, so we don't have much experience
against which to compare -- but many fellow passengers said they do this sort of thing regularly, and we listened to their opinions. Without fear of contradiction from those who have been on this relatively new 82,000-ton ship, this is a wonderful way to spend a week. Food, service, ambience, service, entertainment, service, and overall quality were at the highest level. So was service. Average age was perhaps 55 -- there was no rock band, rock climbing wall, or rock cocaine. Among the ~1800 passengers there may have been a dozen kids, which the staff stored away in plastic bags until the last morning. A great ride! I thank those here who provided guidance - this was definitely the right choice for us. Ike |
