Default Gold Coast Climate Question

Is the Gold Coast of Australia very humid in January (like Florida in
July) or is it just moderately humid? I ask this because the rest of
Austalia is quite dry and it's my guess that the east coast is not as
dry but it's not that wet and humid either. Kind of southern California
with just a little more humidity? I am wrong?

I'm on the Tweed Coast, just south of the border. It's our
warmest time of year - usually 25-33C max, 18-23C min, can
be sticky but nowhere near as sticky and humid as the Gulf
Coast.

Just be sure to book something with air-conditioning:-)

Cheers, Alan, Australia

Yes!! The Bureau of Metereology gives the UV rating each day - and it's
nearly always at the top of the scale in January!! Every Day!

Use sunscreen! Slip! Slop! Slap! is the national slogan. Slip on a T shirt!
Slop on Sunscreen! Slap on a Hat!

Yeah, I passed through there just recently. The sun was so black they had to
turn the street lights on!

It's quite nasty really - happens almost every night.
You had adjusted your watch from PST to Aus DST?
