Default Kings Camp Timbavati

Has anyone stayed here? We're planning a trip to South Africa and the TA
has suggested this as a good place to stay and view game.

Any opinions are welcome.

TIA

It's in the Timbavati reserve, so garanteed good game viewing there now.

I've a keen knowledge of south africa. Timbavati is good place to see game
as well as all other private game lodges bordering the world famous Kruger
National Park.
Cheaper, all camps within Kruger National Park have fine accomodation. a
good place to stay is "Olifants" set atop a hill and overlooking the
olifants river. All kind of accomodation from basic to very confortable. To
see lots of game, the best season is from May to End of September. From
October onward it is overcast and raining !

We had 3 days with no rain and blue skies. In the winter season there's less
food available which means the animals have to migrate, hence it is not a
foregone conclusion that you will see more animals in winter time.

Bushregards,

Corné.
