Default Economy Plus

We'll be traveling to the U.S. from the UK (LHR to JFK or EWR) later
this year. The cheapest flights are with either Continental or Delta and
American as third option. Do either of those airlines offer economy plus
(it's not mentioned on their websites but neither is it on United's
website and we upgraded to seats with a better pitch two yaers ago)?
We're both very tall and squeezing into a 31" or 32" pitch is misery.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you considered the extra leg room option at flyzoom.com? You would
have to go from LGW to JFK

UA is the only US-flag airline offering "+" class seating (for an upgrade
fee or for status pax).

Thanks! I'll look into that. Is it a good airline? I've seen the ads in
the newspaper but never had a look at what they offer.
