No I don't go by their forecasts (predictions), they try to forecast too

far
ahead, and some of their predictions are way out, they've often forecast
extreme temperatures which are below the lowest records for Sydney for
example.

Ok, but i'm not looking for forecasts, in contrary i'm looking for datas of
past years, to get an idea of what the weather can be during april and may.

Do you have any idea how large Oz is?

Yes i know that is a very very big country.

1 week only in Oz is a waste of your money.

That'w what we think too and so decided to come back for a full OZ travel
later.
We are gonna spend 4 weeks in NZ this time, and one week in Polynesia.

Seeing as you appear to be most interested in NZ why not spend another

week
there instead of Oz.

See we had the same conclusion ;0)

My daughter has just spent 3 weeks in NZ and reported back that there was

so
much more to see.

If it was me i would spend months there ;0)
Well i would spend months travelling all around the world...

Here are some sites to check for NZ

1. http://www.metservice.co.nz/default/...512&class=menu
and choose one of the pull-down options under
"Climate Data" or "Weather Summaries"

2. http://www.niwa.co.nz/edu/resources/climate/

3. Regional...
3.1 Fiordland -- http://www.travellink.co.nz/media/page.asp?UID=57
3.2 West Coast -- http://www.westcoast.org.nz/informat...waclimate.html

4. You might find more in this NZ web directory
http://webdirectory.natlib.govt.nz/d...ences/weather/

I don't know whether day-by-day data is available free off of the web.
You may need to look at the monthly averages, highs, and lows to get
an idea of the variations within a month.

Thank i'm gonna check all that, i think that i've already visited some.

Apparently http://www.wunderground.com does it but there is no data for
every town (no data for invercargill for example).

Yes i've already look at the averages but i'd like NZ people advices too :0)

last years.
I'm gonnalook on this site thank you :0)

But well i was first asking for advices about travelling during april and
may in NZ.
We have finally decided that one week in OZ was not enought and so we will

The weather in NZ both north and south is lovely at this time, although the south is quite a bit chillier in the evenings. In the Far North of the North Island it is not very cold, even in winter we average daytime temperatures of about 15 degrees celsius. It is a great country and I am sure you will have a great time over here
