GGC2008 update - Cookbooks, Cookies and Coffee

Well, I guess this will be the first "official" update for the GGC2008 on
the Adventure of the Seas.

There has been some talk about group activities and I think Becca and I have
come up with a good idea. I know it is good because it combines two old
ideas into a new one.

Introducing ---- Cookbooks, Cookies and Coffee!

One of the more popular group activities we did was an idea started by
Ermalee for a group Cookbook back on the GGC2000. This cruise, we'll do it
a bit differently.

If you would like to participate, type or create one page for the cookbook.
It should have at least one recipe on it, but you can add any other
information you like. You could include your picture or a story about how
you got the recipe, etc.

Then print enough copies of that page for everyone in the group who wants to
participate. I estimate that with a group this size, you might need to
print 40 + copies. I'll have a more exact count after final payment.

I will supply each participant with a cover/binder and will bring a 3 hole
punch and during the meeting, we will swap recipes and bind them up. You
bring 40 copies of your page and pick up 40 pages from other people.

Oh... if you are so inclined, bring a few cookies to share with the group.
Becca and I will be happy to provide the Coffee, etc.


There is still time to book..... the group now has 72 members and is growing
every day.
