How early to be at Long Beach Airport for flight.

Hi everyone

I know that I can call the airline about this question, but they
always seem to give the same answer (2 hour early) no matter which
airport you are flying from. In any event our flight out of Long Beach
on Delta is at 6:45am on a Sunday morning. Will 5:30am be early
enough?

the issue at LGB is when the ticket counter opens; that being said, I'd
think 5:30 should be fine, but I would recommend using Online Check In and
not checking luggate.
