Hello,

I am considering visiting Athens for the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest
Final which takes place on 20th May 2006. The final will be held at the
Olympic Indoor Hall, part of the OAKA complex. The venue is situated
right next to the Olympic stadium. I was wondering if anybody could
possibly recommend any hotels either near the venue or in the City
Centre. I am not to worried about the price budget although i dont want
to spend hundreds of pounds on a room.

I found on a website that the metro is the best way to get to the arena
from the city centre, a journey which takes 25 minutes to the "Irini"
station. From there it is a 5 minute walk through the Olympic Complex
to the Indoor Arena. Could anybody please tell me the wheither the
metro runs into the night from the venue back to the city centre.

Many Thanks.

Pretty much everything about the place. It's not very nice, and
certainly doesn't sum up Greece in any decent way.
