Getting from Trieste to Dubrovnik
Hi travellers
I noticed that one way flights from Dubrovnik to London at the end of August are around £180-250 with BA. Flights from Trieste (or even Rijeka) one way with Ryanair/Easyjet are only £65 and £75 so I thought it would be a good move to get the flight from either of these places. The question is: what is the best way to get from Dubrovnik to either Trieste or Rijeka? Thanks in advance Mike |

I don't know if it's the best way though, as I remember it as taking 24 hours or so - it's a very long way. Maybe it'd be better to find a cheaper airline flying from Dubrovnik instead of travelling hundreds of miles up the Adriatic? For instance http://www.germanwings.com/ and http://www.skyeurope.com/ both fly from Dubrovnik. There must be plenty of cheap flights to London from where they fly to. -- -- Chris. |

Getting from Trieste to Dubrovnik
Thanks guys. I checked out the websites and the fares are a lot cheaper then what I have already seen on BA. £135 from Dubrovnik to London or even cheaper if I book 2 seperate flights via Bonn. I think I will take one of these options then travel the coast back up again :-). Cheers Mike |

If you decide to do this, check the schedule way ahead of time. The ferry only comes through once or twice a week. It's not like in Greece where they run all the time. I sure hope Croatia learns to use its ferries as a tourist draw soon. |
