Taking eletrical itmes with you - do customs change you ?
"news.speedmail.co.uk" wrote in message ... What are the chances that custums get you either in the UK or Oz or both countries even if you take say a camcorder and digital camera etc plus other stuff. Do you need a recepit for everything ? Even for something brought many years ago ? No you have no problems its only if your bringing in new items that are boxed that are over a total of £145 i think http://stores.ebay.co.uk/experimenta...lian-Sim-Cards http://www.poms.co.uk/austsraliansimcard.htm |

Hi,
What are the chances that custums get you either in the UK or Oz or both countries even if you take say a camcorder and digital camera etc plus Nil. If you bring just one of them, customs will (rightly) assume they're for private use. If you bring 5 laptop computers, they might start asking you questions. If you bring 5 camers, I think they wouldn't - you could be a photographer, after all. Cheers, Ralph |
