Default Horizon from Philly to Bermuda - mini review

This writing, I hope, will double as a review of the Horizon to
Bermuda cruise and a personal memento.

To the conclusion first: It was an excellent vacation. I strongly
recommend to any prospective cruiser that they take this Philadelphia
to Bermuda cruise next year if it is offered.

The food was superb, as expected. The service was outstanding. The
itinerary was good. The entertainment was good, and very varied. The
other people on the cruise were friendly, and a lot of fun to hang out
with. Bermuda was interesting to visit. It is an obviously beautiful
country, but had beaten up a good bit by hurricane Fabian. The
shopping opportunities were fair.

I hope to fill in the details after I catch up on work.

Traffic wasn't too bad, mainly because we timed our arrival at South
Broad Street after the start of the game. If we had tried to get there
when embarkation started - around 12:30, it may have been a real
nightmare.

Anyone leaving out of Philly should check to see if the Eagles are
home and playing at 1:00 that day, and if so, plan accordingly.

Assuming you just got back yesterday, how was the traffic getting to

We had no trouble on the 28th, but the return on the 5th was terrible
for the people trying to get into the port to pick-up passengers.
Something has to be done about that. We were all standing outside. If
it had been raining I don't know what would have been done.
The cruise itself was great. Bermuda is recovering very well & was very
grateful for the ships to be back.
