info on area around Hyatt Dorado Hotel

staying nite after cruise jan 25 @ Hyatt Dorado via price line for $ 75
any info on area for eats and and other info.

thinking about renting car for over nite to get there from peir and back to
airport in the morning.
cheaper then taxi to hotel which I hear may be $ 75.00.

rental car info wanted also. and what to do for day with rental car,
places to see.
have done rain forest, and toured san juan so somthing different wanted to
do.

Great hotel! We ate in Su Casa restaurant, an old hascienda on the
grounds of the hotel. Ask for a table on the verandah. It was wonderful!
Taxi was very expensive -- we were able to share transportation to the
hotel from the airport but it cost us $75 + tip to get to the ship. The
roads were easy and I strongly recommend a car. There are good
concierges in the hotel who can give you directions to things to see and
do at that end of the island. The hotel beach was very nice -- once we
got there, we didn't want to go anywhere else.

Dorado is no where near the cruise ships. It's at least an hour away.
