Default Silversea update

Returned from a 15 day cruise on the Silver Whisper on 3/8 which, as always,
was perfect. Couple of changes have been made, however. Cigarettes are no
longer free at the bars. You must charge them to your shipboard
account-------------$3.00 per pack. Reasoning behind this is they fear they
may be sued-------------??? Free shuttles into towns seem to be a thing of
the past. They claim it's due to taxi unions forbidding it. Again-------???
Still my favorite cruise line.

It may well have been the truth on the taxis. We were on Cloud in
Argentina/Chile in January and had shuttle service even though the walk
wasn't really that far.

Sounds like even your favorite cruise line is starting to "nickel & dime"!
Princess here "we" come!! Maybe the cig charge is an attempt to tell you
that it's bad for your (and the persons near you) health!!!
