Questions about union discount with NCL
I read over at one of the cruise critic forums that NCL was now giving a
discount to union members. Since we are booked on the Crown to Bermuda this summer and my wife is a member of the teachers' union, I e-mailed our travel agent and asked about this.He confirmed that NCL has a new program that gives discounts to members of the AFL-CIO. I have e-mailed back and asked how much of a discount we are entitled to, but so far have not heard back from him. 1. How much is the discount? 2. Does it only apply to the union member or the entire cabin (similar to if there was a senior citizen discount, we would get for the entire cabin even though I am the only one over 55.) 3. Why aren't travel agents asking about union membership the same way they ask about whether there is a senior citizen, state of residence, or have you traveled on that cruise line previously. |

It applies to everyone. 3. If your travel agent didn't ask, you might have the wrong agent. -- Alan Rosenbaum Independent Cruise Specialist CruiseOne www.CruisePleasures.com |
