VISA to HK
Most people do not need visa to enter Hong Kong. For details, check out from
this official link. http://www.immd.gov.hk/ehtml/hkvisas_4.htm On the other hand, most people do need visa to enter China. It can be obtained either from your home country, or upon arrival at Hong Kong. If I remember it right, it takes one day to do so. Hope it helps. "Christian M. Nielsen" ¼¶¼g©ó¶l¥ó·s»D ... VISA to HK
Your name sounds Danish or some Scandinavian country, so I will assume
you are. Hong Kong and China are, visa-wise, two entirely separate entities. There's a very real border crossing (and even separate currencies and so on). You don't need to get a visa for Hong Kong, you will get a free 3 month tourist visa to HK upon arrival, very easy. You will need a Chinese visa to cross the border from HK into mainland China. This is very easy, fast and cheap to get in Hong Kong, so don't bother getting this one in your home country. However, don't go to the visa office yourself. For some reason (haha) it is a lot easier to get a Chinese visa through a travel agency than going to the office yourself. It's cheaper too, don't ask me how. Have fun in HK! Going back myself very soon now and can't wait to get off the plane in HK. Kris On Sat, 3 Jan 2004 12:10:31 +0100, "Christian M.
