To you, too, Jean.

Did you see the nice write up on SA in the Times Travel section today?

To you too Jean. @Diana SA? What SA? South America? Saint Augustine?
Sisker Avoidance filters?

Hi Diana,
I pulled up the NY Times online and found the article that you
mentioned...didn't know it existed! Thank you for telling me. It is a very
nice write up on San Antonio and told me of some new places that we did not
even know about! You know how it is..we don't go to the Alamo unless we have
visiting family or friends. ;-) We know it will always be there.

This afternoon after dinner, we are taking a drive south of SA towards
Poteet as we heard that the roadside is profuse with absolutely gorgeous
bluebonnets, verbena, paint brush and many varieties of yellow flowers. Lady
Johnson left a beautiful legacy for us to admire each spring!

I'm glad you found the article. (The Times' Travel section is a great
resource--next time you want to get ideas about a destination or port,
take a look, the worldwide coverage is quite good.) I picked up some
tips on new places to check out the next time we're there. I confess,
I adore the Alamo grounds, so almost always make a point to simply
stop, sit and soak it in for a few minutes.

I gather the rains we had this winter contributed to this being a
banner bluebonnet and wildflower year. Enjoy your Sunday afternoon
ride in the country. Both kids are gone today--I am missing the
traditional cascarone-smashing BBQ!

Diana
