Advice on Mongolian hotels
I can't help U with the hotels you mentioned but last december I
stayed 1 night in the Bi-ungal (twin-towers) and it was overpriced so I mooved over to the Ulaan Bataar Hotel, an old Soviet style monolith near downtown and easily in walking distance of everywhere. Good rates and relatively clean if old, and the travel agent on the third floor we exceptionally helpfull. The Genghis Hann hotel, adjacent to the only Shopping mall in town is by far the nicest and newest and most modern, but it is a bit out-of-town and walking in the winter. -50, can get old. If I were going back I'd stay downtown at the Ulaan Baatar, for about $35.00 per night (winter rates) |
