Around the world for a month
"shadowfang" wrote in message lkabouttravelling.com... Hey everyone! This summer my girlfriend and I are planning on making a trip around the world (by plane for about a month). She's been talking about it for a long time and now that we can do it I hope she would never forget it! We want to visit 5 specific places on this trip - London, New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Honkong. I know that there are many websites offering airplane tickets but can anyone recommend a specific site which is safe and has a search engine for multy-city-traveling??? 10nx a lot in advance! www.statravel.com Their .co.uk site has a fun on-line RTW planner. http://www.statravel.co.uk/cps/rde/x...te_planner.htm and it isn't just for students. |

Around the world for a month
This summer my girlfriend and I are planning on making a trip around the world (by plane for about a month). SNIP If you visit the Star Alliance website http://www.staralliance.com you can download a trip planning tool, the Round the World Mileage Calculator, and do all your searching, etc., on your own PC (no Mac version, unfortunately). Hi There is also the "One World Alliance" website - http://www.oneworld.com They also have a downloadable trip planning tool, which basically does the same thing as "Star Alliance". However, because the airlines - and hence the schedules - are different, it may possibly give you a more convenient routing. My wife and I are also in the early stages of planning a Round the World trip, and it so happens that for the route we want to take, the "One World alliance" fits our plans better - I am not saying this will necessarily be the same for you (you may well find that "Star Alliance suits you better), just that it is worth comparing your proposed route using both "alliances". There have already been some good suggestions for websites where you can buy tickets, but you should also try www.lessno.com. The site has a very powerful multi-city search engine which allows you to plan a trip of up to five cities. My advise is to try the websites first. If none of them works, there is of course another way - you can visit a local travel agent and have him plan the trip for you. But unfortunately if you do this you'll have to pay extra fees for their services. Well, good luck! |
