August monsoon
Thank you all very much for your kind suggestions. The question 'can you
handle the heat?' is indeed one that I can not answer 'cause I don't know the impact of a monsoon in August. Having a job in a school, I can't switch to another period. So maybe it's better leave Mumbai a.s.a.p. and change my destinations into India to avoid the heaviest monsoons. Kapellen, Belgium (dutch speaking ) |

The monsoons are impossible to predict though. 2 out of 3 trips to Goa in the monsoon were outstanding. In any case Mumbai is not a choice tourist destination compared to so much more in the area. Don't get the idea that the monsoons cool things off right away, it just adds humidity and in Mumbaii that is cruel but even in Agra, etc. edwardseco |
