Day 1 ARRIVAL


Shwedagon Pagoda
Welcome and transfer to the hotel. Visit Kandawgyi Park and Karaweik Royal
Barge, in the form of a mythical himsa bird. Enjoy lunch at a local
restaurant. After lunch tour highlights include the Chaukhtatgyi Reclining
Buddha Image (70 metres long); the Shwedagon Pagoda, the most revered and
the world famous massive pagoda, and the Sule Pagoda to see the bustling
cityfolk in the heart of the city. Enjoy Thai buffet dinner and the culture
show at Kandawgyi Palace. Stay overnight at the hotel.


Day 2 YANGON - BAGAN BY FLIGHT

After breakfast transfer to the airport for flight to Bagan. On arrival at
Nyaung Oo Airport, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Visit Nyaung Oo
Market; the Shwezigon Pagoda; Kyansitha Umin (cave); the Gubyaukkyi Temple
at Wat Kyi In village, built in the 13th century and the Htilominlo Temple,
which is noted for it's original fine plaster carving. Enjoy lunch at a
local restaurant. After lunch tour highlights include lacquer-ware workshop;
the Thatbinnyu Temple and the Ananda Temple, a masterpiece in Myanmar
architecture. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Stay overnight at the
hotel.

Day 3 BAGAN - POPA - BAGAN BY CAR


Mount Popa
After breakfast drive to Mt. Popa, an extinct volcano last active 250,000
years ago, has been described as the Mount Olympus of Myanmar. It is
considered the abode of powerful Nats (spirits) and the most important Nat
worship centre in Myanmar. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Return to
Bagan. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 BAGAN - PWA SAW - MINNANTHU - BAGAN BY CAR/BOAT

After breakfast visit the Dhamma-ya-zaka Stupa built by King Narapatisithu
in 1198 AD; Pwa Saw Village; Minnanthu Village; the Payathonzu Temple, a
masterpiece of temple design and construction has well-preserved frescoes;
the Thanbula Temple with a painting of a boat race on the eastern wall, and
the Nandamanya Temple, the interior walls are entirely decorated with fine
frescoes. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch visit the Tayoke
Pyae Temple with plaster carving of arch pediment, and the Sulamani Temple.
Then take a riverine trip to Kyauk-Gu Umin (cave), decorated with fine
carvings. Enjoy the sunset from the boat. Enjoy dinner at a local
restaurant. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 BAGAN - MANDALAY BY FLIGHT


Light Festival At Pharyargyi
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for flight to
Mandalay. On arrival at Mandalay International Airport, transfer to the
hotel for check-in. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon tour
highlights include: slipper making workshop; tapestry workshop; gold-leaf
making workshop; the Mahamuni Buddha Image; wood carving workshop; bronze
casting workshop; stone carving workshop and traditional marionette making
workshop. Proceed to Amarapura. Visit Mahagandayon Monastery and U Bein
Bridge. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Stay overnight at the hotel.


Day 6 MANDALAY - SAGAIN - AVA (INNWA) - MANDALAY BY CAR

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Sagaing. En route visit Thein-nyo to
study traditional method of weaving with more than 100 shuttles, and
Thabyedan Fort. Then continue to Sagaing which was once the capital of an
independent Shan kingdom around 1315 AD. Visit Sagaing Hills to see the
impressive Soon Oo Pon-nya Shin Pagoda and Thilaw-ka Guru Monastery. Then
return to Sagaing for lunch. In the afternoon proceed to Ava. Visit the
Gaung Say Daga ( gate ); Nan Myint Watch Tower; Mae-nu Okkyaung; the
Lawkatharaphu Paya; Bagaya Monastery and the iron and clay bowl making
workshop. Then return to Mandalay. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Stay
overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 MANDALAY - MINGUN - MANDALAY BY CAR / BOAT


Mingun Stupa
After breakfast take the boat trip to Mingun, situated upstream on the west
bank of the Ayeyarwady River, which is famous for the Mingun Bell. It is the
biggest ringing bell in the world. Tour highlights are the Settawya Pagoda,
where a footprint of Buddha is enshrined; the five-metre high Pondaw Pagoda,
a model of the Pahtodawgyi Pagoda which was left uncompleted, and the Mya
Thein Tan Stupa with seven wavy terraces around it. Return to Mandalay.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Sightseeing includes: Royal Palace;
Shwenandaw Monastery; Atumashi Monastery; the Kuthodaw Pagoda and Mandalay
Hill. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Stay overnight at the hotel.


Day 8 MANDALAY - MONYWA BY CAR

After breakfast check-out and drive to Monywa, a major trade centre for
agricultural produce from the surrounding Chindwin River Valley. En route
visit the Kaungmudaw Pagoda, built in the renaissance age of Ava, and Ohn
Daw Village, a road junction to Kachin State. Enjoy lunch en route. After
lunch visit Loka Aung Mye Monastery at Khin Mon Village to see the mural
painting; North Kyaukka Village to observe bamboo weaving for lacquer-ware
and South Kyaukka Village to study the finishing process of the
lacquer-ware. Then transfer to the hotel for check-in. Enjoy dinner at a
local restaurant. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 9 MONYWA - MANDALAY BY CAR


Thanbodday Pagoda
After breakfast check-out and transfer to Monywa Jetty, for the boat trip
to the opposite side of the Chindwin River. Then proceed to Shwebataung
(hill) and Powintaung (hill) to marvel at the unique pavillions cut from the
surrounding hillside. Return to Monywa. Visit the Thanbodday Pagoda (10 km
from Monywa), where the Buddha images reportedly numbers 582363. Then return
to Mandalay. En route enjoy the scenic beauty at the Shwekyatyet-Shwekyatkya
Twin Pagoda. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Stay overnight at the
hotel.


Day 10 MANDALAY - PYIN OO LWIN BY CAR

After breakfast at the hotel, take the car trip to Pyin Oo Lwin. At the
first viewpoint, enjoy the sensation of the climate change. Have a short
rest at 21-mile station and catch your breath at the second view point.
Visit Pyin Oo Lwin Market; Purcell Tower and Pwe Kauk Waterfall. Enjoy lunch
at a local restaurant. After lunch sightseeing includes: the Nyaung Kan Gyi
Pagoda and Botanical Garden. Transfer to the hotel for check-in. Enjoy
dinner at a local restaurant. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 11 PYIN OO LWIN - MANDALAY BY CAR

After breakfast at the hotel, take the car trip to Mandalay. Sightseeing en
route. Stay overnight at the hotel.


Day 12 MANDALAY - HEHO - KALAW BY FLIGHT

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for flight to Heho. On
arrival at Heho Airport, proceed to Kalaw by car. Transfer to the hotel for
check-in. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon tour highlights are
Myinmahti Cave and Tein Daung Monastery. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 13 KALAW - PINDAYA BY CAR


Pindaya Cave
After breakfast sightseeing in Kalaw. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
Take the car trip to Pindaya and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Visit
Pindaya Cave with thousands of Buddha statues in the limestone cave; some
local houses where families produce Shan paper ( local made paper );
parasols, and traditional soya bean cake making. Enjoy dinner and stay
overnight at the hotel.


Day 14 PINDAYA TREKKING

After breakfast at the hotel, take a trekking trip to Palaung Village and
Pa-O Village. Return to Pindaya in the evening. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 15 PINDAYA - INLE LAKE BY CAR/BOAT


Shweyanpyay Monastery
After breakfast check-out and transfer to Pindaya Typical Market for the
morning sightseeing. Then proceed to Nyaung Shwe by car. En route visit
Shweyanpyay Monastery with oval shaped windows. Enjoy lunch at a local
restaurant. Then transfer by boat to the hotel for check-in. Enjoy dinner
and stay overnight at the hotel.


Day 16 INLE LAKE SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast at the hotel, take a boat trip around Inle Lake which is 22
km by 11 km and 1320 metres above sea level. Tour highlights include:
floating garden; the fishing method, different from other regions; unique
leg rowers; Ngaphekyaung Monastery and the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. Enjoy lunch
at a local restaurant. Afternoon tour highlights include: the Shan style
weaving and ironsmithy at Inpawkhone Village. Enjoy dinner and stay
overnight at the hotel.

Day 17 INLE LAKE - HEHO - YANGON BY FLIGHT


Pa-O Tribe
After breakfast check-out and transfer by boat to Nyaungshwe. Sightseeing
in Nyaung Shwe. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Then transfer from
Nyaungshwe to Heho by car for flight to Yangon. On arrival at Yangon
International Airport, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Enjoy dinner at a
local restaurant. Stay overnight at the hotel.


Day 18 YANGON - BAGO - KYAIKHTIYO/GOLDEN ROCKBY CAR

After breakfast at the hotel, check-out and transfer to Bago, situated about
80 km from Yangon. Sightseeing in Bago includes: the Shwethalyaung Pagoda;
the Shwemawdaw Pagoda; the Kyaikpun Pagoda; Kalyani Sima and cheroot making
workshop. Enjoy lunch at the Three Five Restaurant in Bago. After lunch
continue to Kyaikthiyo by car through the verdant rice fields. On reaching
Kyaikhto Town, proceed to Kinpun Base Camp, to climb up to Yethe Taung
(mountain) by car. Then take a one hour trekking to the peak of the
mountain. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 19 KYAIKHTIYO/GOLDEN ROCK - YANGON BY CAR


Pottery Shop
After breakfast at the hotel, take a 5 - minute trekking to reach the top
of the mountain. You can see the Golden Rock thronged with pilgrims from all
over Myanmar and abroad. Then return to the hotel and check-out for a very
happy and exciting return trip to the base camp. Transfer to the car and
proceed to Yangon. Enjoy lunch at the Three Five Restaurant in Bago. En
route visit a pottery workshop and traditional orchid cultivation. On
arrival in Yangon, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Enjoy dinner at a
local restaurant. Stay overnight at the hotel.


Day 20 YANGON - SITTWE - MRAUK U BY FLIGHT

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for flight to Sittwe.
On arrival at Sittwe Airport, proceed to Mrauk-U by boat. On arrival,
transfer to the hotel for check-in. Stay overnight at the hotel.

the Ratana Manaung Pagoda; the Sakya Manaung Pagoda; Bandoola Monastery; Lat

Afternoon sightseeing includes the ****taung Pagoda; the Andaw Thein Temple;
the Ratanabon Pagoda; the Dukenthein Temple; the Laymyathna Pagoda; the
Laung Bwon Brauk Pagoda; the Annawmar Image and Pitaket Tiek Library. Enjoy
dinner at a local restaurant. Stay overnight at the hotel.


Day 22 MRAUK U - CHIN TATOOED VILLAGES - MRAUK U BY BOAT

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer for the sightseeing trip to Chin
Tatooed Villages by boat. Enjoy lunch en route. Then return to Mrauk-U in
the afternoon. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Stay overnight at the
hotel.



Day 23 MRAUK U - SITTWE BY BOAT


After breakfast at the hotel, shopping at Mrauk-U Bazaar. Then take a boat
trip to Sittwe. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Sittwe. After lunch
transfer to the hotel for check-in. Enjoy your leisure time at the hotel.
Then visit U Ray Kyaw Thu Monastery, Pyi Lon Chantha Image and sunset
sightseeing at View Point. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Stay
overnight at the hotel.


Day 24 SITTWE - THANDWE - NGAPALI BY FLIGHT

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for flight to Thandwe.
Then take the car trip to Ngapali Beach. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Airport, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Stay overnight at the hotel.


Day 28 DEPARTURE

After breakfast at the hotel, sightseeing includes the crocodiles breeding
aquarium and the factory of rattan funiture in traditional style. Enjoy
lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch visit Chinatown and Bogyoke Aung
San Market, former Scott's Market for souvenirs. Then transfer to the
airport for departure flight.
