Default Press Release for Carnival Liberty pre & post stay

Hey folks,
This just in from CCL and I though I would pass it along. My wife an I
are working on sailing on this ship for the second sailing and taking
advantage of a post stay in Rome and even spending an extra week or so
traveling throughout Europe ending up in the UK with friends before
returning home.

MIAMI (November 17, 2004) - Carnival Cruise Lines is offering pre- and
post-cruise hotel packages in several first class hotels in Rome, Italy, in
conjunction with Carnival Cruise Lines' first-ever Mediterranean cruises on
the Carnival Liberty beginning in summer 2005.
The one- to three-night hotel packages can be combined with the new 12-day
Mediterranean voyages aboard the 110,000-ton Carnival Liberty from July 20 -
Oct. 12, 2005, as well as a 16-day transatlantic voyage departing Rome Oct.
24, and arriving in Fort Lauderdale Nov. 9, 2005.
"Rome is a beautiful and fascinating city, filled with numerous historic
sites and attractions, and these new hotel packages provide guests with a
perfect opportunity to discover this city's many treasures," said Bob
Dickinson, Carnival president and CEO. "Combined with the resort-style
amenities and features on the Carnival Liberty, our guests will have a truly
memorable and exciting European vacation."

property features 247 rooms and is just minutes away from shopping areas and
historic sites, such as the Spanish Steps and the Vatican.
