For God's sake PJOD, give it a REST! Most of our European readers are
heaving hearty sighs of relief because the American elections (thus,
hopefully, your monopolizing of this newsgroup) are finally OVER!!!!
(By now even your few fans are sick and tired of your political rants -
please crawl back into the woodwork and let us get back to on-topic posts.)

Lol the old hag is out, herself an OT specialist, giving lessons to the
world.
Maybe both live in the same old people's home ?
Go knock on his door...

Yeah, and marking spammers' posts "thread read" works, too. (But this
moron is responsible for so MANY of them, and it keeps changing its name!)

Yes, but is there a way to set an entire thread started by PJOD to
ignore using the Gravity newsreader?

Ignoring each thread is easy, but he starts so many of them

I came back from my 3 week holiday to find about 150, all but one - junk

I've not used Gravity - in Thunderbird, I simply hit 'K' and the thread
disappears.

Especially since the moron is STILL at it! However fascinating American
politics may be to him/her/it, this is SUPPOSED to be a newsgroup for
EUROPEAN travel! (Although, given PJO'D's apparent IQ, he may not
realize other countries exist.)

No and I explained why - they can't go for their week in the sun/skiing
without one. An American can.

I don't accept that having a Passport JUST for this activity make you a
worldly traveller

What the f*ck america holiday destinations has got to do with it either
I'm at a complete loss.

Because going on holiday (and no other) is the reason that 90% of people
have a passport.

It is damning because it identifies the insular attitude of americans ...

I don't agree that having, or not having, a passport makes a jot of
difference here.

An awful lot of people go abroad for their ho9lidays because they can
experience a different culture.

Not many people go to Venice for the skiing...
