Group Transportation suggestions

I'm trying to organize the transportation for a group of 24 people
from the San Jose airport to Mount Hamilton (Lick Observatory). What
would be your suggestions for the cheapest yet most feasible way of
getting to the site?

Black Tie or one of the other limo services. They have vans, buses etc.

Have you considered asking Lick if it has a shuttle bus for this purpose?
Or UCSC (I'm just a guest on this system, I have to moderate news groups)?

Contacting Lick for advice is a good idea. But if you decide to use an
airport shuttle service, I'd definitely contact them in advance to
make sure they go there, and hopefully to reserve some buses just for
your group.

there.
