Default Tours of Pentagon?

Do they offer an interesting tour of the Pentagon in Washington, DC?
What do they show you? Are reservations required?

Do security measures require special reservations to tour the Capitol
and other government buildings or monuments?

Google is your friend. A search on
http://www.google.com for
the term "Pentagon tour" came up with this web site:

http://www.defenselink.mil/pubs/pentagon/tour.html

which has a lot of information about how you can take a tour
of the Pentagon. Whether or not the tour is interesting is
entirely up to you.

I've already seen many of the other "tourist" sites, and I suppose
there are many interesting stories about American military history
that one would learn on a tour of the Pentagon. It is one of the
government's most important buildings after all.

Anyone care to share any memorable anecdotes (positive or negative)
from the tour?

Nephew REALLY REALLY wanted to go on the tour, so I waited for the three
hours to go on it. It was pretty much a walk through an office building
hallway, though there were occasional ceremonial flags on the wall.

That's disappointing.
