Default NZ Travel Question

Hi All,

I'm heading off to NZ soon and am currently planning my route. I'm
flying into Auckland and plan to stay there for a few days. Next stop
is the Waitomo Caves and then on to Rotorua. I plan on going from
Rotorua to Wellington to ferry it over to the south island.
What is the best way of getting from Rotorua to Wellington? I've been
googling for possible train routes or coach journeys but I've not been
able to find much. It seems there are a lot of sightseeing tours
between them, but I don't want to spend the money on that.
Any help would be appreciated.

Chris

Both Inter-city and Newmans have a Rotorua-Wellington Service.

Default NZ Travel Question

Hi all,

I've got another question. I was planning on seeing Fox Glacier but am
unsure of the best route there. It seems there are coachs from
Christchurch to Franz Josef but the only website I found seemed a bit
sparce of information, and also the booking section was broken. It
seems it's also possible to get a train to greymouth and then a bus to
Franz Josef.
Which of these journys would be better? Also, if anyone could point me
to any coach websites etc it would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks,

CHris
