Default NYC-Should I drive or not? Also-How do I get to Coney Island?

You can borrow a wheelchair at the museum. They are at the Will Call
desk, just inside the entrance to the planetarium building (The Rose
Center).

There are benches in the museum.

Also, the museum has a direct entrance from the subway station,
although it is sometimes closed during terrorist alerts. If it's closed
it is not a long walk to the museum street entrance, however.

I wonder if you already visited New York, but in any case, I'll add
this:

My parents, who have some trouble going up and down stairs, take
busses rather than the subway. It takes longer, but it works. Just
look at www.mta.info for a Manhattan bus map and schedules.
