Some confusion may caused by the underground explosions happening between stations... It does also appear that in one location a secondary devise was found, perhaps designed to kill 1st responders. Kings Cross is going to have a high number of deaths apparently. My heartfelt condolences... the elation of the "Games" to this very low point. jay Thu Jul 07, 2005 |

I love London and hearing about the destruction, deaths, injuries and the fear that Londoners will experience as a result for a long time to come makes me ill. I know people there will respond with courage, just as New Yorkers did to 9/11. Terrorism only started on 9/11 for Americans, the IRA existed long before this. Unfortunately their activity was paid for by American fund raising. |

I was planning to go up to London tomorrow, and if the trains are running I still will. I know people there will respond with courage, just as New Yorkers did to 9/11. As did Madrid, of course. But the Spanish had ETA and Britain had the IRA - the New York attacks "changed the world" partly because America was relatively inexperienced at being attacked by terrorists. Des |

I remember posting same on 9/11 or 11/9 as we would call it, its a pity that the solidarity the west felt at that moment has dissipated to some extent. -- Mike Reid Walk-eat-UK "http://www.fellwalk.co.uk" -- you can email us@ this site Walk-eat-Spain "http://www.fell-walker.co.uk" -- dontuse@ all, it's a spamtrap Photos of both "http://www.lawn-mower-man.co.uk" |
