NCL Confiscates Booze in Checked Bags
Just returned from cruise on NCL.
Was surprised to see that they confiscated lots of liquor that was packed in checked bags. They did xrays and anyone with what looked like a bottle had to report to the office to open up bags and remove booze. I saw at least two dozen people in the line for this check. First time I have ever seen this done, as conventional l wisdom has been that checked bags were the way to get booze aboard. Since they also check carryons, the only way now would appear to be to hide pint bottles inside baggy shorts. |

I saw that too, on NCL to Bermuda. There was a large pile of luggage with
big liquor stickers on them waiting to be claimed. "Dennis P. Harris" wrote in message ... Hard to believe, but so typical of NCL. We have been shunning this line for
almost a decade, There is not a price cheap enough to tempt us back. John |

WHY do you sheeple put up with this kind of crap? ****** Why do passengers, that accept a contract of passage that states that you can not bring booze aboard, then attempt to do just that. Why, when this is discovered, should they have any basis to complain? |
