Cheap hotel in Reno, Nevada

I am going to Reno for 5 days in October. Any recommendations for a
cheap place to stay? Downtown or by the airport.

The big casinos are often cheaper than that, especially midweek.

It all depends on your idea of "cheap." Try these:

These are all hotel casinos downtown. There are several motels downtown
that will probably be cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Try
www.superpages.net or www.bigyellow.com to find motels.

Circus Circus is usually the cheapest in town. Further, if they can't
accommodate you, they'll find a place for you.

You don't say what your definition of cheap is. Check the usual web
sites such as expedia, travelocity, hotels.com and so on.

Those sites are good places to start, but for Reno and LV I can usually
do better at the hotels' own web sites. YMMV.

Try Fitzgeralds hotel, they're online www.fitzgeraldsreno.com. Very
reasonable, comfortable, and friendly. Right by the train tracks but in
the middle of downtown. Good place to eat too.

just go to expedia or hotels.com you should be able to get a room in
one of the good casinos for cheap (less than $30 a night weekdays) I
reccomend Silver Legacy or Harrahs....
