Default Montreal hotels - Hotel Place D'Armes or Hotel Nelligan

We're planning an anniversary weekend in Montreal and can't decide
between Hotel Place D'Armes or Hotel Nelligan. Both have the same
romance package at the same price (these hotels are affiliated) and
both are in Old Montreal.

From the photos, Hotel Place D'Armes' rooms are a little more
esthetically pleasing to me, but it appears Hotel Nelligan receives a
higher rating on several websites.

Has anyone out there been to both that can tell me whether or not they
are comparable?

Brenda
