Crop duster stolen a week ago (in Mexico) near San Diego
I see that lots of interesting stuff doesn't get aired on the nightly
national news. I found out about this story about the stolen plane he http://www.time.com/time/magazine/ar...782068,00.html "And another episode has some senior U.S. officials worried: the theft of a crop-duster aircraft south of San Diego, apparently by three men from southern Mexico who assaulted a watchman and then flew off in a southerly direction. Though the theft's connection to terrorism remains unclear, a senior U.S. law-enforcement official notes that crop dusters can be used to disperse toxic substances. The plane, stolen at night two weeks ago, has not been recovered." There appears to be no other web based write-up about this stolen plane other than the following: ---------------------------------- http://michellemalkin.com/archives/000824.htm (Lots of embedded links so go to the web site to get more details) MISSING CROP DUSTER By Michelle Malkin · November 09, 2004 08:09 AM TSA wants to know: Have you seen a stray Piper PA 25 Pawnee crop-dusting aircraft? It was stolen last week in Mexico. "Although there is currently no indication that this has any connection to terrorist activity," the TSA said, "the theft is cause for concern. Past information indicates that members of al-Qa'ida may have planned -- or may still be planning -- to disperse biological or chemical agents from cropdusting aircraft." (Photo of the aircraft is included in this PDF file. http://www.eaa.org/communications/eaanews/advisory.pdf) TSA doesn't mention it, but fugitive Saudi pilot and suspected al Qaeda operative Adnan Shukrijumah remains the subject of an FBI manhunt along the U.S.-Mexico border and was reportedly tracked to Sonora, Mexico in August. Shukrijumah has been linked by federal authorities to Zacarias Moussaoui (who researched crop dusters), Jose Padilla and al Qaeda's alleged dirty bomb plot. More here. Could be something. Could be nothing. Like those missing propane cylinders. And that still-missing gas tanker stolen in Jersey. |

A crop duster was stolen and flown south from San Diego. So?
Toxic substances can be dispersed in many ways, terrorist don't need to steal crop dusters. The USA government loudly announces when Bin Laden farts, as they are politically deathly afraid of anything happening without their announcing a warning first, so they can say I told you so. Many actual experts have stated that terrorists care little for our special holidays like July 4, as they are on their own schedule, yet the USA government makes a huge deal of being "vigilant" on those holidays. The next major terrorist incident will have nothing to do with planes. Pete |
