STAR CRUISES SELLS SUPERSTAR ARIES AS FLEET RATIONALISATION PLANS
CONTINUE

Star Cruises, the Leading Cruise Line in Asia-Pacific today announced
the sale of SuperStar Aries to Pullmantur Cruises, which in the last
three years has risen in stature to become the leading cruise operator
in Spain. The sale follows that of SuperStar Capricorn announced on 15
January 2004 and is in line with Star Cruises’ overall strategy
involving fleet rationalisation plans to a fleet profile with more
medium capacity vessels that are suitable for the Asian market.

“The company is constantly looking at the prospect of selling certain
identified ships as and when the opportunity arises in achieving our
overall intended objectives and the confirmation of the sale of
SuperStar Aries is another step that has been taken towards that
direction”, said Mr. Chong Chee Tut, Chief Operating Officer of Star
Cruises.

The 37,000-gross tonne vessel joined the Star Cruises fleet in 1999
and is currently home ported in Port Klang, Malaysia, where she offers
4-day/3-night and 3-day/2-night cruises to Phuket, Thailand and
Langkawi Island in Malaysia respectively. These are in addition to the
international high seas itineraries out of Port Klang from Mondays to
Saturdays.

SuperStar Aries will be delivered to the new owners at the end of her
cruise season in the Straits of Malacca.
