NCL AMENDS CARIBBEAN ITINERARIES FOR NORWEGIAN SUN AND NORWEGIAN
SPIRIT

Changes as a result of recent hurricane damage to Grand Cayman

Miami -- Friday, October 08, 2004, 2004 -- Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL)
today amended Caribbean itineraries for Norwegian Sun’s seven-day
Western Caribbean cruises and Norwegian Spirit’s Western Caribbean
five-day cruises because of damage to Grand Cayman from the recent
hurricanes. The company has been working closely with officials from
the island and wishes to express its deepest sympathy to the people of
Grand Cayman.

The company has arranged a contingency plan for the ships through
Norwegian Sun’s November 27th cruise and Norwegian Spirit’s November
14th cruise. It may be that both ships can call into Grand Cayman
earlier but in the meantime the company has created attractive
contingency calls into either Costa Maya or Guatemala for Norwegian
Sun, and Belize or Roatan, Honduras for Norwegian Spirit.

Norwegian Sun contingency itineraries departing from Miami will call
in Costa Maya except for the Nov. 13 cruise, when the ship will call
in Guatemala.

Costa Maya is an unspoiled coastal paradise in the Yucatan and sprawls
off the beaten path from the Mayan ruins of Tulum to the Belizean
border. Brilliant butterflies, exotic tropical birds, deer, monkeys
even jaguars are said to roam the remote parts of this pristine
jungle. While not far from shore, guests will find mile after mile of
historic shipwrecks and coral formations, much of them virtually
unexplored.

Guatemala’s Puerto Izabal is a natural paradise offering breathtaking
scenery of mountains, lakes, volcanoes and flora and fauna. Guatemala
offers the recourses of a mainland port with some of the most
spectacular archaeological sites of the Mayan world including Tikal,
Quirigua & Copan.

Norwegian Spirit’s five-day cruises departing Miami on October 17 and
October 31 will visit Belize City, Belize, and the ship’s November 14
cruise will visit Roatan, Honduras.

Norwegian Spirit and Norwegian Dawn to call in Grenada

Based on input from Grenada’s tourism department, Norwegian Spirit’s
9-day Exotic Southern Caribbean cruises from Miami and Norwegian
Dawn’s 11-day Exotic Southern Caribbean voyages from New York are
planned to remain unchanged. The company is working with officials
from the island who advise they are optimistic that the port will be
available at the end of October/the beginning of November. The
company’s thoughts and wishes are with the people of Grenada as they
continue their recovery efforts.

NCL will be sending a team to evaluate the island prior to the ships’
first calls. In the meantime, the company has developed a contingency
plan calling into St. Vincent & the Grenadines if necessary.

“Our goal is to maximize our guests’ experiences while supporting our
partners in the Caribbean islands who were affected by the devastating
hurricanes,” said Andy Stuart, NCL’s executive vice president of
marketing, sales and passenger services.

NCL Corporation is an innovative cruise company headquartered in
Miami, Florida. With a fleet of 14 ships in service and under
construction, the corporation oversees the operations of NCL, NCL
America and Orient Lines. On July 4, 2004, NCL made U.S. maritime
history when it introduced the reflagged Pride of Aloha, the first
modern U.S.-flagged cruise ship in nearly 50 years. The 2,002
passenger ship is 100% U.S.-crewed, with most seafarers hailing from
Hawai`i. The company is currently building three ships – Pride of
America (delivery on June 6, 2005), Norwegian Jewel (delivery in
August 2005) and Pride of Hawai`i (delivery in April 2006).
